Boston is one of the most accessible U.S. cities for international and domestic travelers, and your journey begins at Logan International Airport—a modern, easy-to-navigate airport with nonstop service to major cities across North America, Europe, and beyond.

The Seaport Hotel is just 3 miles (5 km) from Logan Airport, making arrival fast (10-15 minutes, depending on traffic) and stress-free. Transportation options include:

  • Taxi: At all terminals

  • Uber/Lyft: At the designated RideShare pick-up area

  • Water Taxi: A fun, scenic and uniquely Boston arrival! See section below for details.

International Travel Tips

  • All international flights arrive at Terminal E at Boston Logan International Airport.

    Terminal E has been recently modernized to improve customs and immigration flow. Eligible travelers are encouraged to use the Mobile Passport Control (MPC) app which may reduce processing time.

    International attendees are advised to plan an arrival cushion:

    • Arrive in Boston at least one day prior to your first Summit talk;

    • At Logan Airport, allow flexibility for immigration processing, baggage claim, and ground transportation

    Travel time from Logan Airport to the Seaport Hotel typically ranges from 10–20 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • Wi-Fi: Free internet is available at Boston Logan Airport, the Seaport Hotel, and to all Summit registrants.

    Data: International travelers should check mobile roaming plans in advance or consider an international or eSIM data option.

    Outlets: The United States uses Type A/B electrical outlets (110–120V); adapters may be required.

    FlyLogan App: For real-time airport information, terminal maps, and transportation options, we recommend downloading the FlyLogan app prior to arrival.

  • Credit and debit cards are widely accepted throughout Boston, including hotels, restaurants, taxis, and rideshare services. Cash is rarely required.

    Tipping is customary in the United States and typically not included in service charges. As a general rule of thumb:

    • Restaurants: 18–22%

    • Taxis / rideshares: 15–20%

    • Hotel staff: Modest is customary
